Surrounding your every memory
The haunting reality of things lost

  4. lost things have
    a tendency
    to grow
    tendrils, dense
    and unrestrained.
    at a glance, it appears
    superfluous, like
    a tinseled wreath
    of quarreling
    afterthoughts,
    but any Darwinian
    understands the
    clever adaptation
    for getting
    caught, for
    succumbing to
    memory’s hedge
    .
