    • Thanks Cat. Glad you like the piece. And speaking of the Chemical Brothers, my favorite song from them is Star Guitar. One of the best videos as well.

    • I get lost in it as well. It is continuing to change and appear as something different each day. Awareness does that.

Fascinating imagery Walter. The blend of textures is very intriguing – meted plastic mixed with fabric.

  6. When viewing this image, I can’t helping thinking of water and Algae. If that was the effect you were going for, well done!

I think the image would be greatly improved by a contrast increase.

Other possible tweaks: If you work with RGB curves, I also think it would benefit from a slight green emphasis in the darker colors with a slight magenta (opposite of green) emphasis in the highlights. After doing that, I think that desaturating all the colors except green and yellow by 25% would bring out the greenness without totally obliterating the other colors.

I’m not entirely sure of what look and feel you were going for so, feel free to disregard my opinions about fine tweaking.

    • Thanks for the comments M. I will give it a shot. I am slightly limited in my technical approach to color composition. I keep experimenting until I find the image that has an intuitive feel to it. I try to remember my processes, in order to implement them into other works. With each piece and the direction it has taken me, I learn a little more.
