The City Series: First Published Book

The City Series: First Published Book

I just received the first copy of my self-published book: n e w d i g i t a l s c a p e s – art for posts: the city series. It is a 20 page volume of art, prose and poetry. The print quality is very good. And I am pleased with the final product.

  2. Did you use online publisher?

    • Yes, I used Blurb Publishing, an online site. They offer various size books, covers, papers etc. The images were reproduced true to form.

    • Thank you Jaclyn. I needed to be able to hold something in my hand. It is actually cheaper to produced a book with many images, then produced a framed print. Easier to get people to see and feel what you are doing as an artist.

    • Thank you Marie. It has been fun putting the book together. And holding the results. I am working towards a large book combining the smaller volumes. A combination of all my major blog series i.e. city, abstract, landscape and silence.

  11. awesome! It is so cool to see your work in print, isn’t it? I know I felt that way when I was first published.

    • Thanks Sheila. I am working on the abstract and landscape series as we speak. The quality of the photos on paper was excellent. It is exciting to see our work in print. Your statement brought back memories of when I was in a multi-media production that included video from me. It was an incredible feeling to see my video art on a 12′ x 12′ screen. Seeing the work at that scale was something I had not experienced before.
