Images For Android Phones: Analog Design

Years ago in the 1980’s, I explored some remote boundaries of electronic soundscapes. My first musical instrument was an Arp synthersizer. Pre-digital the Arp was a voltage controlled analog musical instrument capable of a variety of timbres and sounds.

  1. …the days of fancy colored buttons and knobs! [not to mention better quality sound!] I kind of miss it. [I’m guilty of having quite a few of those -sequencers, mixers, synths etc- stashed away.] …and your image brought all this up, in a very nice way.

    • Oh so cool Marina. I had no idea you were into electronic music. And a musician to boot. I used to take my synthersizer and trumpet out to the woods in the park with speakers and generator and jam away. But unfortunately, I realized I was not a very good musician and decided to stick with what I knew best … visual art. I have posted several tributes to old space music (Klaus Schultz) and others on the blog.

      • …out to the woods?! Wow! That must have been some experience! My conservatory days & performances excluded I’ve always worked with my earphones attached! I like the isolation! I will be looking into your tributes…

  2. Gorgeous work Walter. I’ve fallen behind too and been swamped but I haven’t forgotten you and still will catch up as I have all your posts. 🙂
