Crossing the bridge of discovery we find ourselves….

Biking to a new place

Some thoughts on ambition and the nature of Self….

How often in life we complete a task that was beyond the capability of the person we were when we started it. – Robert Brault

Ambition is not what man does… but what man would do. – Robert Browning

It is in our nature to discover things and in our will to reach them. – Walter Smith

  1. What a beauty this image reminded me of one of Shel silverstiens quotes..am sharing it with you hope you like it too-
“The bridge will only take you halfway there, to those mysterious lands you long to see. Through gypsy camps and swirling Arab fair, and moonlit woods where unicorns run free. So come and walk awhile with me and share the twisting trails and wondrous worlds I’ve known. But this bridge will only take you halfway there. The last few steps you have to take alone.”

    • What a beautiful poem Soma. Thank you for sharing it with me. I found the language in it to be so refreshing and universal. Giving all our souls a place to explore. Crossing the bridge of life. I don’t know you very well, but it seems to reflect to me a lot of who you are as well; culturally diverse, and a soul-seeking adventurer.

    • Thanks Malt. This is the Virginia Creeper. A 34 mile trek from a mountain top along an old railroad path. Beautiful crossings of gorges like this one.
