Talk Amongst the Trees
To meditate in the shadow of mountain, wind and tree….
If we could hear the trees converse, what would they say to us?

I’ve been told that walking beneath trees helps to keep you grounded. I love your images.

Hi Walter, what beautiful picture!
Maybe the trees just whisper ancient legends to each other…
I love the images on your blog.

“Slow down you move too fast, gotta let the morning last.” Lovely image Walter. Hope the season is bright and the New Year brighter.

I don’t want to think what trees would have to say to humans. ๐ Love this image! And happy new year!

I agree Katie, nature would have a sad story to convey when it comes to how humans have interacted with her. Thanks for the lovely comment. And happy new year to you as well.

The trees always tell me, “We were here before you, and we will be here after you are gone.” I find it humbling and awe-inspiring and reassuring and sad. I love trees and sometimes I really do hug them like the good little sorta-hippie I am.
I know very little about digital art and it has just occurred to me it would be interesting to know more about how you create your images. Not that you have to share secrets or anything, but I’d happily read about your process (even if just the thought process).

Hi Lisa, if you would like to see a series that talks about my process in creating digital art you can follow this link. This is actually part 1 and there are 4 parts (posts following). Just go to the next post to see the others in this series. I think you will find them fascinating.
I hope this link works.
And thanks for the comments on the influence of trees. I agree wholeheartedly. And you are not the only “sorta-hippie” around ๐
