The Setting Sun and the Years of Our Descent (Recovery Remix 2011)

The city series….

From across the park I see the days end and the last day begin

We remember what we shared—the deep dark place and beautiful heaven.

And to never forget is now the bond that liberates and heals.

It is the recovery we now hold dear

and

the rising sun….

    • What has kept my recovery solid and unblemished for 9 years is the remembering what it was like to be lost.

        • Thanks for following my blog Paige, or is it Fiona? Fiona is an interesting name, I should know, It is a name that if I had another daughter I would call her Fiona. It is a British name and I always liked it. My only child, a girl, is name Dionanna or “Lady” as everyone called her since birth. To my great sadness she past away in March of 2011. You can find tributes to her by going to my “Love” tag. I see you have a nice family as well, two sons and a niece name Lily. It must bring great joy to your life. Beautiful indeed. Seeing the photos of your kids brings back memories of my daughter growing up 🙂
