the road I know

has left me behind

so I go

through the rain

that pours like shadows

driving to find my way back home

Gotta find my way back home

    • Thanks Diva, I was lookinger for a more simpler look, in order to bring out the text and imagery more clearly. I did not want my repeat readers to be distracted by the background.

    • I was feeling a sense of longing at things gone by, family, home and such. This photo was taken along I40 through the Smokey mountains of Western North Carolina.

Beautifully done Walter. We are all constantly traveling away from and towards home.

    • Thanks Elmediat, there is something wonderful about traveling, listening to music, remembering places and people. It is both beautiful and sad.

    • Thanks David, lately I have been composing poetry for my pieces. Without much thought I try to put down what comes quickly to mind.
