How Can I know If You Believe In Me (a short reprise)

on a sea of glass

a reflection of what you believe

is it me

or my imagination

that is dreaming

believing in

the beautiful times gone by

and forgotten moments

now and forever

— for us

Now and forever believe in me

  1. Oh wow, the tone of this piece seems very different from much of your other work. Perhaps it’s the treatment? What was the original image? Is that a person bending over to draw something on the ground?

    • Hi Diva, I really appreciate your thoughts on this post. I really like this piece and all week I have been visualizing it in my mind, and thinking of the title and what it means to me. It beckons a universal question about acceptance and hope and even love. The two images in this series, are originally from a found art exhibit on an island that I and the Highwire artists partcipated in. It was the year 1993. And the name of the exhibition was Island, Water, Bridge. I have a video piece of the process on the island at my Youtube channel. Kim, the person in the two pieces has found an old horse in the water and is bending over to retrieve it.
