Weekly Photo Challenge: Colorful 02

The Brooklyn Bridge in NYC

Continuing the theme for this week’s photo challenge: colorful, is again an early digital work. This piece is one of the first to incorporate photography and digital manipulation. I am combining marble paper digitally altered and a photograph of the Brooklyn Bridge in New York City. This piece was created in 1987.

    • I love art. And presently I feel very connected to my work, and having the opportunity to share it feels so rewarding.

    • I just love the Brooklyn Bridge and hanging out in DUMBO. Although it has been a long time since I actually been there …. sigh.

    • Thank you Liz. My early work was created using a stand up Panasonic camera with a rotating Red, Green, Blue color lens to create the colors in the photo scans. Hence a lot of bright opague colors.
